I didn’t mean to fall in love with teeth – it just happened when I was on a medical mission trip to rural Nicaragua as a college sophomore. More specifically, I love how dentistry is a combination of health care and art. Every patient, every smile, every tooth, and every day as a dentist is different, which keeps me passionate, energized, and fully engaged in the field.
Education & Training
After completing dental school, I chose to do an extra year of training as a general practice resident at the San Francisco VA Medical Center, which gave me great insight as to the integral role that oral health plays in a person’s overall health. As a lifelong learner, I am also committed to staying up-to-date on dental techniques and technology. I rely on these underlying principles every day, as an important part of caring for all our patients.

Away From the Office
I am happy to be back in my hometown of Fort Wayne near my family. Outside the office, I volunteer for dental mission trips and have served in Kenya, Haiti, and Honduras. I also enjoy running, napping, reading, and traveling.
